Pigments and additives

Re-Turn is also marketing several types high end, strontium aluminate pigments for use in different plastics and coating materials. These pigments provide a long lasting after glowing, effect which will last for up to 200 hours before it will need recharging from a light source. Strontium aluminate is not radioactive or toxic, and can withstand up to 1200 degrees Celsius for several hours.

The pigments are available in different colours, but normally in stock in the standard yellow/green escape route colour. The pigments may be used printing inks, coatings and in thermoset plastics as for example in fire helmets, light switches, door handles and many other applications. For thermoplastics it is preferable to add the pigments to transparent and opaque materials. For more information and specifications, prices etc, please contact us.

Re-Turn AS represents the large, German colour paste specialist company ISL-Chemie in the Norwegian market.

Re-Turn AS has a lot of knowledge and experience in composite glass beads, which enhances the density in thermoplastic and thermosets, without increasing the viscosity or wear to the machinery. Different qualities with special coatings for optimal adhesion for different polymers are delivered from our cooperation partner, Swarco Vestglas in Germany.
